Homebuyer Education

There are many types of homebuyer seminars. While they all serve various needs only those that meet the educational requirements, when homebuyer education is required to use a specific program, are listed on this site. These seminars are offered by a wide range of providers. KCRAR lists these seminars as a public service and believe they meet the current requirements for homebuyer counseling and/or education certification.


Home Buying Today: It's a Whole New World A Community Homebuyer Education Course that reviews the process of buying a home, and everything you need to know about attaining the American Dream of homeownership! This is a non-solicitation community service program sponsored by The Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS, The Mortgage Bankers Association of Greater Kansas City, and Fannie Mae. The $10 registration fee is charged per household and includes one informational packet, and one certificate of completion. The class will be taught by two volunteers consisting of one REALTOR and one Mortgage Banker. This program will fulfill the education requirements of most loans.
