Program Overview
Johnson County ADDI Program is a program that provides up to $10,000 down payment and/or closing cost assistance for first-time home buyers. This program is available in Johnson County in Kansas.
Who is eligible for this program?
The homebuyer must live in the residence for 5 years, and cannot exceed certain income limits. Buyer must contribute at least 1% of the purchase price or $500 of their own money in the purchase transaction. Buyer must qualify for a fixed-rate mortgage loan (15 - 30 year term). Houshold income can not exceed 80% of Area Median Income. The forgivable loan is to be used toward down payment and approved closing costs. Property Eligibility Requirements
Property must be located in Johnson County in Kansas. The sales price cannot exceed $ 204,250. Allowable property types: Single family residence, manufactured homes on permanent foundation, condo, town home, or one unit of a duplex.
Benefit Details
This program provides assistance to the buyer of an amount of 6% of purchase price up to $10,000 assistance.
