Program Overview


City of Lee's Summit First Time Homebuyer Program is a program that provides assistance in the amount of $3,000. Money can be applied to the down payment and/or closing costs. Cannot have owned a home in the past 3 years. Need to purchase within the city limits of Lees Summit. Only available in Lee's Summit, Missouri.


Who is eligible for this program?


Borrower must also have not owned a home in the past three years. Call for income requirements

Must be used for down payment assistance and/or closing costs.

Allowable property types: Single Family, Condo Duplexes, Townhomes


Benefit Details


Benefits first-time homebuyers with low-to-moderate incomes for down payment assistance and/or closing costs. The borrower must apply at City Hall and completed applications must be directed to the Treasury Department. Borrower must also reside in Lee's Summit only and the property must be built before 1978 and pass deteriorated paint inspection in order to qualify for the program. Borrower must also provide a copy of a pre-approval letter to the Treasury Department with their application. $3,000
